West Coast from Dargaville north.

I've travelled up north from Dargaville to Kai-iwi Lakes and further on up to The big Kauri tree Tane Mahuta and you can see lots of potential flying spots on the coast from the road. These look to be major clifs and/or very high slopes overlooking the ocean.

However I did not get the opportunity to explore these at all, it was a few years ago and I have always kept this in mind.

Has anyone flown any slope in this area ? or know of any particular sites overlooking the ocean north of Dargaville ?

I reacon this part of the country could be hiding some major slopes that could be "discovered" and prove to be excellent.

I'm dreaming here but I would love to take a week or so in the summer and drive up for some serious looking around and flying.
