Check with Ashhurst Model Flyers to see if there is access to the road. It is a public road but a farmer does have a gate across the road, it is normally not a problem.

Great sloping sites but landing can be a challenge.

If you travel through the Manawatu Gorge from Palmerston North you turn right at the end of the gorge across the Balance bridge then next right to Hall Block road. The site is half way up. You can park on the RH side of the road across from a small embankment. Climb the embankment and fly. The area works in NE to SE. This is one of my favorites.
